ORGANIC COTTON
Organic cotton is the eco-friendly alternative to traditional cotton. It is a cotton grown with methods and products that have a low environmental impact.
Environmental Benefits and characteristics:
- CO2 emissions are reduced by 46%
- water consumption is reduced by 91%
- chemical pesticides and fertilisers are not used

Production of organic cotton is growing every year and between 2017 and 2018 alone it increased by 10%.


At present, however, organic cotton cultivation accounts for about 1% of global production (source: Textile Exchange 2018).


 

NATURAL COTTON
Natural cotton is used from 1967 in most of the manufacturing processes of the company

VISCOSA ECO-VERO
Derived from certified renewable wood sources using an eco-responsible production process by meeting high environmental standards.  These viscose fibers are certified with the internationally recognized EU Ecolabel.
Environmental Benefits and characteristics:
- soft and bright, it is easy to confuse with silk
-  it is very good at absorbing colours that appear brighter than classic natural fabrics.
- it is a very wear-resistant fabric of natural origin
- biodegradable
- it is a highly breathable fabric that keeps the body fresh
- as an artificial fibre of natural origin, viscose has higher moisture absorption properties than any synthetic textile fibre.

Viscose is classified as hypoallergenic because it prevents the formation of bacteria and the development of dust mites.

 

Nylon Q-NOVA® by FULGAR

Q-NOVA® by Fulgar is an environmentally-sustainable nylon fibre obtained from regenerated raw materials. It's a highly ecological product which aims to reduce CO2 emissions, consume less water and use renewable energy.

Characteristics:
- particular resistance to traction and therefore to breakage
- it is crease-resistant, crushproof and elastic
- in sports it is used for its lightness, water resistance and fast drying
- breathability: Q-NOVA® boasts excellent moisture control meaning that the skin stays fresh and dry

LYOCELL TENCEL™
Lyocell is a recently discovered material obtained from eucalyptus trees.The production process is a closed-loop, particularly innovative process in which all the water and organic enzymes used are recovered and fed back into the process, making it highly environmentally sustainable.
This special process was awarded the “European Environment Prize” by the European Union.


Environmental Benefits and characteristics:

- produced in an environmentally friendly way
- 100% biodegradable
- water consumption required for lyocell production is 10-20 times lower than that required for cotton production
- lyocell products are easy to maintain and wash, do not crease and dry quickly
- it has a special natural elasticity and naturally absorbs moisture thanks to eucalyptus wood, preventing the formation of bacteria and helping to create an optimal microclimate on the skin..

 

MODAL FIBRE
Modal is a wood pulp based cellulosic fiber, made out of pure wooden chips from the beech tree. it is essentially a variety of viscose rayon; a generic name for modified viscose rayon fiber. Modal may be used on its own or in ablend with cotton, wool and other synthetic fibers.

Environmental Benefits and characteristics:

- Water absorbent : Modal is 50% more absorbent than cotton; micropores inside the fabric absorb any water or sweat they come into contact with
- Soft : Modal l has an incredible soft touch
- Doesn’t crease : Modal resists wrinkles and will stay smooth with minimal ironing
- Breathable : Modal is great for sports clothing and everyday clothes because the fabric’s weave is very breathable
- Stretchy

Elastan LYCRA®
DEHA uses LYCRA® elastan in its collections. It's a synthetic elastane fiber. LYCRA® fibers have redefined comfort, fit, freedom of movement and shape retention.

FIBRA LYCRA® carac:

- can stretch up to seven times its length and return to its original state
- able to be stretched repetitively and still recover original length. Abrasion resistant. Strong and durable  
- Lycra is almost always mixed with almost all the type of natural or synthetic fabrics
- it is completely invisible and does not change the external appearance of the fabric. It can be dyed into many different colours
- easy care: garments with LYCRA® fibre do not require speciale attention





 

EMANA®
Emana® is a Rhodia Polyamide 6.6 yarn embedded with bioactive minerals, that absorb human body heat and “emanate” infrared rays back to the body. Results show that metabolic biostimulation followed by cellulite and muscle fatigue reduction are the primary benefits achieved.
Characteristics:

- cellulite appearance improved
- It reduces unsightly orange-peel skin
- it improves thermoregulation
- it stimulates cutaneous blood circulation
- It improves firmness, tone and skin softness

CUPRO the  'VEGETABLE SILK'
Cupro is a “regenerated cellulose” fabric made from cotton waste. It’s in the same family of fabrics which are made from plant-based materials that are chemically processed to produce a smooth fabric.

Environmental Benefits and characteristics:
- It doesn't contain any anymal by-products
- It’s made from cotton linter, a waste product of cotton
- It’s produced in a closed loop which means that the chemicals used can be extracted afterwards and the water can be reused
- it’s made from 100% plant-based materials, so it’s biodegradable
- soft, smooth and bright, it is easy to confuse with silk and is also known as vegetable silk
- it is very good at absorbing colours that appear brighter than classic natural fabrics
- it is a highly breathable fabric that keeps the body fresh
- It can be washed in water (either machine-washed or hand-washed), so there’s no need to dry clean
