Our name says a lot about us
DEHA comes from Sanskrit, an ancient language that originated in India, considered to be the language of the Gods. DEHA means human body, the form that makes each of us unique. DEHA also binds with another Sanskrit word "dyu-div," which means everything that shines and is of divine nature. The union of human body and divine light represents our vision of the woman as a goddess, a symbol of unrivaled energy. One that we have to celebrate each moment of the day.
From the beginning in Italy to the worldwide expansion
DEHA was founded in 2005 and is rooted in the world of dance, although it quickly extended into the wider world of active wear. Always with the goal to make sustainable clothing with the quality of Italian craftsmanship. Nowadays, the brand is available in 25 countries, with more than 800 stores, 35 shop-in-shops and 4 flagship stores. Ever since its foundation, DEHA has stood out with the duality of active wear and fashion in its designs, embodying the spirit and evolution of Meeting Group, founded in 1967 in Treviso – the heart of the region of Veneto.
Meeting Group: where design and sport meet
For more than 50 years this company has been a force in creating garments suited for both sports and leisure. The story began with two childhood friends who became business partners: one an industrial designer and the other an Olympic athlete. Together, they established an organization that combined their two worlds of design and sport. The very name of the Meeting Group represents this spirit of exchanging knowledge and culture. Till this day, a love for research and the pursuit of innovation without forgetting the excellence of tradition is embedded in the company's and its brands' DNA.
